About VouchFirst
Is VouchFirst legit?
A fair question to ask before you trust any site with ticket decisions. Here is what VouchFirst is, who runs it, and where its limits are.
Short answer
Yes. VouchFirst is a real, independently operated site run by the team behind r/TicketResale. It provides a scammer directory across social media platforms and a zero-fee feed where fans buy and sell tickets to each other. It does not sell tickets or hold your money, and a Vouch is a record of reviewed evidence, not a guarantee.
What VouchFirst provides
- A scammer directory across different social media platforms, so fans can check a seller before sending money.
- A zero-fee ticket feed where fans buy and sell tickets to each other.
Who runs it
VouchFirst is independently operated by the team behind the r/TicketResale community (opens in a new tab). We have spent years moderating peer-to-peer ticket discussions and reviewing seller histories, confirmation emails, transfer evidence, and scam reports. VouchFirst began as a practical moderation tool.
We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Reddit, X, Ticketmaster, PayPal, or any other platform we mention.
Read more about usWhy it is zero-fee
VouchFirst is a ticket feed, not a payment processor. We do not own the listed tickets, collect the payment, or add a service fee to the ticket price. Buyers and sellers deal directly with each other.
How it reduces scam risk
- Users must comment publicly before messaging, so an offer is tied to a visible account.
- Activity stays on each profile and cannot be deleted to hide past behavior.
- The feed shows vouched sellers first, then buyers, then non-vouched sellers. Sellers cannot pay for priority.
- Anyone can report a user, and reports feed the scammer directory.
How sellers get vouched
We review harder-to-fake evidence such as confirmation emails from ticketing platforms, ticket-account recordings, and previous transaction history. We compare submissions with a growing reference library of fake screenshots, fake recordings, look-alike apps, and fake emails. We have reviewed more than 800 proof submissions.
See how seller vouching worksWhat VouchFirst does not guarantee
A Vouch is a record of evidence reviewed at one point in time. It is not ticket insurance, a transfer guarantee, or escrow, and not being vouched does not automatically mean a seller is fraudulent. VouchFirst does not hold buyer funds, so verify the ticket yourself and pay with PayPal Goods and Services when eligible. Never treat a badge as a replacement for payment protection.
